2.1: Minor: Show blank instead of "." for timesteps not present in the 
 slot's range.

2.3: Minor: Revised File >> SCT operations to indicate that ALL slots 
 in the viewer are used.

2.4: Revised column header context menu;  Added column header tooltips.

... This is a combination of David's review suggestions and discussion 
at today's Software Team meeting.  We probably should not show the "Drag 
column header ..." line in both of these.
