RiverWare Output Canvas / Teacups and Flowlines
Proposed Additional Features / Estimates -- 11-12-2014

We would like to complete for RiverWare 6.6 items 1 through 6 (and not 7 and 8) on this "additional feature list" discussed with the URGWOM team in a webinar meeting. (See: http://cadswes2.colorado.edu/~philw/2014/TeaCup/CompletionProposal-2014-11-12.html):

1. Teacup Legend
2. Background Images
3. Output Canvas Viewer Dialog
4. Model Reports: Inclusion of Output Canvas
5. Misc. Polishing:
   • "Setting" Enhancements:
     • Color Selector
     • Local Slot Name Selector
     • Timestep Date/Time Selector
   • Teacup Vertical Axis:
         additional heuristically-devised numbered tick marks
   • Teacup Groups: configurable maximum height (pixels).
6. Flowlines:
   • Thickness -- relative to the Flow Line Group
   • Color / Line Style -- relative to the specific channel capacity
      
7. DEFER: Free-Standing Text Items
8. DEFER: Animated File Generation (e.g. MPEG)

The table below shows estimates from the original task analysis of the features we would like to complete for RiverWare 6.6. These estimates are provisional -- taken primarily from the original development plan analysis. The intention is to attempt to complete these within two full weeks of Phil's development time. I think this can be done on an accelerated schedule. The Flowlines development will likely be not completely fleshed out -- the basic features estimate was 78 hours, not including a legend.
