RiverWare 6.1: DMI Status Window Enhancement: Message
Search
8-25-2011 / Phil Weinstein / CADSWES -- see original
feature request.
The message search capability which had been available in the RiverWare Diagnostics Output Window is now also available in the DMI Status ("DMI Notice") dialog. The following types of searches are supported:
![]() |
|
![]() |
Search can be operated with the up and down triangle arrow buttons, or by pressing "Enter". Shift "Enter" searches backwards.
When the "Warnings" or "Errors" search filter is selected AND the Search character pattern is blank, initiating a search (i.e. by pressing "Enter" or clicking an arrow buttons) goes to the prior or next message of that message type, regardless of text.
A single context menu operation is supported: "Copy Messages". This copies all lines in the DMI Notice message dialog to the system clipboard.
Note: "Show Message in Popup Window..." is implemented as a context menu operation -- but that doesn't work well from a modal dialog, so that feature is not enabled. [bool ENA_SHOW_MSG_IN_POPUP_WIN in DmiHandlerDlg.cpp].
