(A) New SCT Tab: Gridded Object Data Table -- Development

A new SCT tab was added to present a user-configured grid of simulation objects with a small set of scalar slots and table slots. The value of scalar slots and single-cell table slots are displayed and are directly editable. For other table slots (larger than a single cell) the user can show the Open Table Slot Dialog.

Post-development review and revisions of this new feature were completed in early December.

(B) Open RplSet Usability Enhancements

Additional toolbar buttons were added along the bottom of the RiverWare workspace to provide quick access to each of the open (resident in memory) RPL sets -- both RPL sets stored within the RiverWare model and those opened from an external RPL set file. (This was motivated by usability problems reported in Gnats 5113).

[VI.A] Conferences, Visitors and Special Events: Conferences Attended
--------------------------------------------

Phil Weinstein attended the annual 3-day Qt Developer Days conference in San Francisco from November 29 to December 1, 2011. This included a one-day class on the new Qt liquid GUI technology: Qt Quick and QML. This is an alternative to the composition of graphical user interfaces using Qt widgets.

Maintenance Accomplishments

Phil did not do any significant maintenance work (e.g. Qt4 porting) this month (November 2011).
