In the case of conversion to a different Unit TYPE, we need to munge the internal (standard units) number such that the apparent (display units) number doesn't change. See screenshot. (Also relevent for the multi-slot configuration dialog).

But this will ultimately be solved by porting the Accounting View to the Qt4 Graphics View architecture. Also, see generated test images.
